The chairperson welcomed everyone along to this months meeting.

July 2008 minutes

Matters arising
|
1. The money received from the finance section of the council in error has now been passed onto The Neighbourhood Forum, they are the group which should have received the money in the first place.
2. It has been noted that the forum members have never been invited on an estate walkabout.
3. Finance Training is to be arranged via MVSO, 2 from each forum that has to sign forum cheques must attend the training session. The secretary of the Core Group is to make arrangements with MVSO.

1. Housing Sub Committee papers were discussed.
2. Moray Tenants Conference 2009 discussed, working group will meet in January. All ideas for workshop have to be submitted by Christmas.

1. Michelle asked if the council had planned to switch off street lights to save money. Rennie informed the group the council had no intention of doing this.
2. Decembers forum clashes with the Housing Sub Committee, secretary will check if room available on the 9th December.
3. The Core Group held their AGM on the 15th October, 2008.
4. Plans for the new £25m development for the Bogton area will be on view in the Ramnee Hotel on the 28th and 29th November. See press for details.
