Matters Arising

1.     Treasurers training, Heather attended this on the 9^th March.

2.     Any suggestions for the new handbook has to be with the secretary no later than the close of this meeting

3.     Bogton area development, public presentation for the 13^th March –today- has been cancelled, new date to follow.

2.     Letter via The Moray Council informing the group of a National Spring Clean event which is to be run in April. No date given in letter.

Treasurers Report

£750 has yet again been deposited into the forums account giving us a balance of £991.03.

Secretary to contact the council for the annual £500 grant.

 Region 2

Regions 2 otherwise known as The Northern Lights Region are holding their AGM on the 18^th April 2009, in the Town and County Hall, Aberdeen. Anyone interested in attending please give their name to the secretary by the end of the meeting. Transport is being provided.

Moray Tenants Conference

This year’s working group is

1.  Charles French – Lossiemouth

2. Steven Christie – Bilbahall & Rothes

3. Elizabeth Miller – Bilbahall & Rothes

4. Jean & Harry Walton – Spey Coast

5. Heather Anderson – Forres Area

This year’s conference is on the 17^th September, Town Hall, Elgin.

The first meeting of this group is next month.

Wish List

All ideas for the 2009/10 wish list are to be with the secretary by the next meeting, 13/4/09.

AOCB

1.     The Affordable Housing Questionnaire is to be returned along with a covering letter. Heather wished it noted that the Core Group had filled in and returned their questionnaire.

2.     The secretary informed the group that there was still an ongoing problem with parking in Stuart Street. The Community Warden, the police and a local councillor have also been involved.

3.     Credit Union AGM is on the 31^st March. For more information please contact he local office.

4.     TPAS conference, 2^nd – 4^th October, Apex Hotel, Dundee. Anyone interested in going please contact Iain Terry in the Elgin office. Cost for the full conference is £300 that includes all meals and accommodation.

5.     TIGHRAS conference, 11^th – 12^th September, The Thistle Hotel, Inverness. No price, as yet has been confirmed, if anyone is interested in attending contact Iain Terry in the Elgin office.

6.     Jean Graham’s plaque, still ongoing with the chairperson.

7.     Benches at Leys Road need attending to. Chairperson to attend to this.
